From Kaiza: Northern breeds and wolfdogs have always been my passion. I learned a little too late the importance of responsible, ethical breeding, as well as how significant an impact genetics and epigenetics have on animals. I found the Tamaskan breed in the early 2000's and followed their progress for nearly a decade before importing my first. I fell in love instantly and knew they were my breed. I had interest in breeding at that time, however, due to a genetic condition, my imported male was not suitable for breeding, and breeding plans were pushed aside. A few years later, I got a purpose bred mixed breed dog that grew to be a perfect candidate for an outcross for the Tamaskan breed, one who offered many benefits as a foundation dog. I produced my first G1 Tamaskan litter in 2021 and the experience and joy it brought is indescribable. I am honored to be able to work with such a wonderful breed, in such a great community, to provide healthy, temperamentally sound companions!
